Our animal companions enrich our lives. An original painting is a beautiful way to remember and celebrate cherished pets, past and present. Portrait Gift Cards are also available to give as gifts to friends and family. Each gift card shows painting examples of my realistic style on the front and blank inside for your sentiments. Card back explains original painting was commissioned especially for recipient, shows artist info, how and where to send photos of pet(s) to be painted, etc.

Whether this is a painting you are having done of your own animal or bird family member(s) or a special gift you are giving, I am always honored to capture the spirit and expression of beloved pets in portrait paintings for an everlasting memory of this special love shared.

Prices below are a guideline for paintings completed in standard frame sizes. I work with Acrylic Paints, with attention to realistic detail, referencing photos supplied by you or your gift card recipient (please see photo/painting examples below) along with stories shared about the painting model(s). Generally, you can expect your painting to be finished within 3 - 5 weeks for 8" x 10" or 11" x 14" sizes or 6 - 8 weeks for larger pieces, however depending on my show and commission painting commitments or closer to Christmas, I am sometimes booked months to years in advance for Pet Portraits. At time of booking, please enquire about delivery times or for paintings (including gift card commissions) needed sooner, I will advise if I can accommodate.  I can be reached by email: for_pets_sake@interhop.net and welcome your contact for further quoting, examples of past work or query.

8" x 10" for $175. ~ 11" x 14" for $275. ~ 16" x 20" for $375. ~ 20" x 24" for $475.

Shipping is not included in price. No charge to ship Gift Cards. Sales tax added to Ontario only. For new customers, a deposit is required at time of booking. Full payment is required when painting is completed to your pleasure  and prior to shipping or pick up . Any payment will be refunded in full, if for any reason, you are not thrilled with your original Pet Portrait commissioned painting.
